Bateson Unbraked Trailers

The Bateson range of unbraked general purpose and platform trailers are built to the same high standards as the larger trailers using the same heavy duty materials. They have 2mm galvanised steel sides and sealed bearing hubs, full width rubber suspension axles, 100mm p.c.d wheels and high speed road tyres are fitted standard, as are pre-wired plug in combination lamps and a cast, 50mm ball coupling head supplied complete with a lock and four keys.

All eight models are non braked and suitable for use behind vehicles driven by holders of the new drivers licence without taking the extra trailer test. Brakes are not legally required up to a maximum of 750kg gross trailer weight. However the trailer and its load must weigh less than half the weight of the towing vehicle.

There are eight models available in two styles to suit nearly every application. The four general purpose models have a low platform height with the wheels outside the body. All are fitted with ramp tailboards with a ramp angle of 18 degrees to a floor height of 400mm, a standard low door is available as an option.  PLEASE NOTE: Mesh Sides and Ramps may incur an additonal cost to the trailer.
