Bateson Platform / Tipping Trailers

The trailers are produced in three gross weight ranges 2000kg, 2600kg & 3500kg, which suit different types of towing vehicles. There are varying body lengths from 2.5 metres as standard up to the maximum legal size of 7 metres long and 2.3 metres wide.

The chassis are all hot dipped, galvanised and manufactured from specially formed steel sections for combined maximum strength and a minimum unladen weight. Floors are phenol coated non slip ply fitted into special flush fitting side rails with roping hooks and corner sockets to enable optional galvanised steel sides to be fitted.

All trailers are fitted with heavy duty rubber suspension axles, a lockable cast coupling and auto reversing brakes on all wheels. Full road lights, a heavy duty front jockey wheel and a spare wheel are all fitted standard.
